You're right. Parents need to set better examples for their kids, when it comes to food. Children these days are very much overweight than they should be. For example, alot of kids are accustomed to fast food, which is so unhealthy. I boil, bake or grill food for my family. I never deep fry. We live in an apartment complex, so we don't have a big yard for them to play in, so I take them to the park to play, run, or just exercise.

Very good. How about some tips for what to do with picky eaters who refuse to try new foods? The only veggies/fruits my 10-year-old daughter will eat are broccoli, corn, apples, and watermelon - she refuses to try anything new. I try to invite her to try things, but I don't press it if she says no.

It's too late baby, there's no turning around. I've got my hands in my pocket and my head in a cloud. This is how I do when I think about you. I never thought that you could break me apart, I keep a sinister smile and a hold of my heart.

I think this article was something that our society has been "tip-toeing" around for some time now. I am extremely pleased to see someone stepping out of the box of normality and doing something to help, rather then falling behind everyone else.

I agree! Parents are the best example for our children. Also, getting the kids outside and free to run around is vital. I take my two children on (almost) daily walks with our dog. It is great for all of us to get out as a family. My 3 1/2 year old daughter rides her bike on these walks while I walk the dog and pull my 1 year old son in the wagon. May sound chessy, but I look forward to our walks.

I think most kids (from 1-92) would rather eat dirt than veggies. Kids try not to eat veggies cause they are intelligent.
