    Eating Choices. I lost 90 pounds 3 years ago, and I have only gained back 5 pounds (which I think is muscle from weight lifting). I simply changed my eating habits for life, not just for a diet, or temporary weight loss. If you think about everything that you put in your body, you can eat 5 or 6 tasty meals a day and loose weight. As a rule, NO fried foods, limit the fatty food intake, cut out non-diet soda 100%, actually read the labels and choose the food that has less fat. If you must eat fast food, choose Subway, but skip the mayo, and the cheese. Trust me, this works....

    here's something you may not have thought about!!!!!!! get your thyroid level checked! your whole problem with wait gain my be due to an underactive thyroid [hypo thyriodism] if you are losing wait and sweating a lot you may be suffering from [hyper thyroidism]can be contributed by graves disease,bottom line get your thyroid levels CHECKED first before you do anything!!!!

    i have the same tummy problems, im 28 mom of twins 187lbs 5'2,and my husband asked if i would do something for him and of coarse i said yes, he would like to see me at 135 by christmas. i went out and bought a pair of rollerblades but im not seeing the results fast enough.

    This is addressed to the young lady who was advised to lose weight in hopes of conception. I am a RN and recently lost 30 lb. before my wedding. I got pregnant on my honeymoon. Losing weight is hard work, but think of it as being good to yourself. You will feel better. Good Luck.

    Have an active lifestyle! Don't just "do exercise." Make it what you do as part of life, just like you do sleeping, eating, or doing your job. It's when you start looking at things like "working out" as "additions to my day" that you set yourself up for failure. If you miss one day, so what? That means you're rested for the next day's routine-that-includes-exercise.
