Hi Joy, Happy New Year. I see all your qualifications.....M.S., R.D., C.D.N. Don't mean to be rude but are you really in the picture? North Americans are fat because they are lazy and have no time because of work, kids, family hobbies and activities. To follow a diet like this is crazy. A hundred different ingredients, the time involved in preparation. I would be surprised if ONE person follows this schedule. They want food now, quickly, filling, tasty. Maybe you can work a new diet on that formula. Sorry, just facts.

I would have to agree. If I had the time to prepare the above it would be great. But reality is, I have 3 kids and a house, plus a 50 hour a week job. Think I will stick to my new Toast diet and eat lots of fibre, fruits and veggies. Then a health dinner.

Dear Joy: I enjoyed all your menu ideas and plan to follow as close as possible. I realy want to jump start my diet for the new year and lose that extra 10 pounds. Your plan is nutritious, and should be easy to follow. Thanks Jane

not that hard to follow. people are getting just too lazy to cook and opt for lazy meals. pop in mouth and go. even with jobs, and kids. how did our parents and grandparents do it? there was no fast food places. they worked 24 7 too.

I work in the Health & Wellness Industry, and what Dr. Joy has listed above is the same as our guidelines. How much is your Health worth to you and your family? People are lazy, and come up with some really good excuses. Excuses that are passed onto our children. Take a look outside - do you see kids playing in the streets?? I could go on, but our society needs to open up their eyes, not their stomachs to fast - quick options.

The best diet to drop weight hands down is the peaches and cottage cheese diet all you want for 7 days then a veggie and cottage cheese day...drop the pounds fast and still have the nutrients your body needs Mike Mackett Tornto ontario 6 time marathon runner

Hi Joy: I think that it looks great and I'm excited to try it. I appreciate the guide line and directions as I have no idea how to plan meals like this....so you've saved me a ton of time trying to figure it out on my own! If people cut out all the TV they watched and stop making excuses, they could make these meals. Happy New Year!

Interesting menu. Looks easy enough to prepare. Boy, I'd hate to eat in the houses of the people who are complaining how time-consuming it would be to prepare these meals. Sad, do all your meals come out of a box? It's not too hard to make a ham and cheese sandwich.

WoW! This is so simple! I am a mother of 4-A full time student, work full time and am SO BUSY! And these meals are so simple and will make me feel good to feed these to my husband and kids too(9, 7, 6, and 4) Most of this is what we would eat anyways...so THANKS FOR THE MENU!!! Most of this is stuff we can make a head which makes it even better.
