Those are good for dining in a resturaunt, but you mentioned non- fryed foods almost everything you take out is fryed and very fattening. Just end up bringing your own lunch box everywhere you go is better .

Could you be any more obvious? How about some helpful tips that everyone might not actually know? Obviously, bread, larger portions and soda have calories. I was expecting number 5 to be "Skip dessert."

The restaurants that I go to rarely allow you to do this. If you order just an appetizer, they treat you with hostility because your order doesn't "cost" enough; if you split an entree with another person, they add a surcharge for the extra plate. What do you do when you are out at a nice restaurant and what you want only costs $8 (at a restaurant where a meal is normally $30?). It is really hard. The profit motive is overwhelming, and they don't care if you are fat because they are all taking slimming drugs to purge themselves of food.

My spouse and I have split entrees at some of the finest restaurants without any problems. Of course, I did point out that the serving of steak was a full pound of meat. This also leaves more calories for wine or champagne.
