I am sorry but this is nonsense. Who wants to eat out if they have to follow such rules. No bread? Come on. How about people actually getting off their butts and EXERCISING? The health benefits to exercise are a lot more significant than passing on a piece of bread at dinner. But, then again, people must like reading puff pieces like this because they're all over the place. Sigh.

Eating out in a restaurant is more like diet suicide. With so many choices that you loose count. I have avoided all together for the past 2 mos. Together with an exercise regiment and eating portions I managed to loose 20 lbs so far.

I've just started my diet and this was very helpful to me and I truly grateful. Thanks, over weight for to long.

I run a group of restaurant/bars. Some of these 'tips' are not practical, most restaurants prep during the day for service at night, most dishes can only be changed to a small degree. The rest of your suggestions are just common sense. I am also a bodybuilder, and have no problem eating out.

Obviously you can't always follow all these suggestions and on some occasions you may choose to ignore them altogether, but for someone like me who eats lunch out almost everyday this is a great place to start.
