    thanx i recently was diagnosed with gerd and i was wondering how i got this and reading this blog helped. in fact you just labled my life. i lived on all those foods you said to avoid and i only ate twice a day in massive poportions. also my friends say that they never seen anyone eat as fast as me. time for a new diet lol !!!

    I HAVE gastroesophageal reflux disease and im asthmatic due to 2nd hand smoke, never smoke a day. If anyone feels they may have refliux disease seek medical help this is nothing to mess with.Tjere are meds that can help treat this and will make you fell 100 times better.

    I have acide reflex and am in pain daily with it. its hard to change your diet and eat the right foods its a battle for me what can I do as a 40 yr old women. With a very active life styl I work two jobs and it hard for me to get the energy and I try very hard to change what can I do to help this problem.

    Also take two Cider Vinegar tablets with each meal. I did this and after about a month I no longer had any heartburn or (GERD) . After three years I can eat anything and still no heartburn.

    I'm confused. My daughter has this disease, and she was told by her physician to eliminate as much dairy from her diet as possible. You said that low fat dairy was ok?

    My Naturopath just suggested that I go gluten free for my GERD. It's been 2 days so far. How long before I see a change if in fact this is what is causing my GERD symptoms? Thanks
