I suppose that those comfort foods might be alright for most, but it does not have any reference for me. My comfort food since childhood is a sandwich made from 2 slices of pumpernickle bread--toasted, 1 slice of cheese microwaved on 1 slice of toasted bread for about 10-12 seconds, topped with 2 large slices of fresh tomato and topped with the other slice of pumpernickle toast. Ymmmmmmmmmmmm!! Has protein and diary, carb and veggie. Much better to me than that other stuff.

Ice Cream: Breyers Non-Fat. Several awesome flavors including Vanilla, Chocolate, Caramel, and a few chocolate inventions. Most have some fiber as well. Good flavor.

People who read this and think the recommendations are healthy should run away from their computers. Sugar, sugar substitutes, carbs, starches, and baked goods are poisonous. Insulin and leptin are the killer hormones. If you don't believe me, Google them. Forget this "healthy comfort food " nonsense.

Some of these sound OK, but they do not sound like comfort foods at all IMHO
