Also, toasted mulit-grain or whole wheat bread with some fresh, sliced bananas and almond butter is a good sleep inducing snack. Bananas are a good source of tryptophan, as well as potassium, which helps lower blood pressure.

The topics in this website are very informative and educational. I think everyone should read them to avoid premature aging and death. I printed some of the topics so I could share it to my patients and coworkers. Keep up the good work!

Article mentions adults should eat apples before going to sleep. Actually, apples have stimulating properties and I would not recommend eating them in the evening...its been noted in some scientific studies that an apple has approximately the same stimulating effect as a small cup of coffee...bananas work better. Turkey is good too.

If snacks in general mean food and drink without overloading you metabolism or worship, I say for a bedtime snack try ( if your really over legal consent ) smirnoff vodka (red or blue) with lemon and lime juice, a 'Kinder "TM"' 'Bueno "TM"' (or any white chocolate and hazelnut puree will do), and last but not least I dare not say what I am blessed with !!!!!!!
