Docs don't seem to tell us: To prevent virus invasion we must stay warm. Viruses are on us ALL the time, and when our bodies temperature is low they can penetrate, and multiply. When get sick. Reduced body temperature from lack of good food, rest, good circulation, and warm clothes is mostly responsible for getting sick . So stay warm! Gary

I've been preaching this to my overweight daughter (43 yrs old) for years. I finally got some proof. I printed this and gave it to her. After the initial snort and sniff, she agreed "It couldn't hurt." So, WE will start walking. Thank you!

Your information about the prevention of vitamin c for colds is correct. It was from the Cochrane review. However, one of the authors stated there was evidence of using c to treat colds once they have started using between 3 to 6 grams. One of the reviews authors,Harri Hemilä, recommends looking at this aspect of treatment in adults and children with more research. She also found that the 6 gram dosage was much more effective.
