Combine eating fresh foods low in sugar, salt and carbs with exercise (just walking is good!) and you'll lose weight and feel better. Lots of better choices in the grocery store now, but you have to look.

I couldn't agree more about watching out for the sugars! I was struggling on Weight Watchers for the last 2 yrs with no appreciable results, & spending quite a bit on the food & membership renewals. I decided to try something different, & joined Compulsive Eater's Anonymous - a free program offered around the country, no special foods required. I have completed 30 days on the program so far - losing 20 lbs. & I am now completely off my blood sugar medicine! There is a better way, that you can do even on a low budget, & it is without all the sugar! I have yet to have a hunger craving as well! Throw away all the fat-free, low fat foods that are high in sugar - there looms a hidden enemy within. So if you have major weight to lose, like me, this is the program for you! I have years of bad habits to overcome, but I see now that the problem is not just me - it's also understanding a better way to eat & live.

does having diabetes, or high blood pressure, or heart attacks scare anyone? High salt, or high fat or high sdugart diets can amke all of theses things and worse happen. I want to live a very long life with my kids, not die young.

Everything in moderation. There's so many things to be careful of salt, fried foods, sugar, fats - just keep cutting those things back, working out and add raw fruits and vegetables to your diet & WATER.

sefiane123 - I hate to burst your bubble, but 4% body fat is not healthy even for a man and especially not for a woman.
