Hey happie92...yes drinking too much water can be bad for you. It could cause water poisoning. Seriously. You are supposed to drink about 8 cups of water a day. Before and after a meal (it helps digest food better). Plus, have you ever seen the old ladies with flabby arms? Alot of that is water weight. Don't freak out though! Alot of hard work has to be put in for trying to lose weight. Its not just eating better, its excercising more too. But you're wondering, I'm a mother, and a careerwoman, and I volunteer too...no problem! Simple things can be done to get a few extra steps each day and a step closer to losing serious pounds.
Say you have to go grocery shopping or clothes shopping for your kids...park in the farthest parking space possible, so you walk more. In the office, get up and stretch every half hour, because sitting slumped in front of a computer all the time causes extra slack in the tummy. Then, when it comes to lunch break, eat slowly because it takes 20 minutes for the brain to register that your stomach is full. Drinking water is always good. It keeps you hydrated and it is necessary to live. But don't overdue it with too much water. You still need vitamins and calories and sugars in your diet. They are important too...just not too much sugars!
Its not enough to just learn what to do in order to lose weight, you have to have the will power to actually follow through with it. That is a major reason why people only stick with diets or excercise routines for a week or so...because they have no will power!! *I'm not a fan of diets. I personally don't think they work. Its just a form of selling a product.* Just eating healthier and walking around the neighborhood or beach for ten minutes a day can better help lose weight then diets.
So finally, drink water, but not too much. Eat food still, don't forget that! And put forth the effort to walk a little more each day. I hoped this answered your concerns happie92.
