I would like to know the difference of sodium content between kosher salt and table salt. I prefer to use a dash of kosher when I cook. But since kosher is flakes of salt, and therefore lighter, wouldn't I get less sodium from, say, 1/4 t kosher than 1/4 t table salt? This has been driving me crazy, and I can't find any information on this. I AM trying to cut back on my sodium, but occasionally I have to have a little bit!! Can anyone help me on this?
