    wow, this is too healthy for most kids, they don't all like salads and wraps, this is going too over board!! Kids don't need to count their calories, they run around all day and they will get too stressed if they are worried about what they eat!! you are nuts!!!!!!

    Thank you so much this info is very helpful to me. My child was recently diagnose with Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. She is a very picky eater so I have a hard time getting her to eat. I will try your sugestions. Thank you again

    This would be helpful except that my son gets dropped off at 7 am and has 4 and 1/2 hours until lunch. The last thing I would do is send him to school with mayo or, to be honest, most of these meats and cheeses. With the long period before lunch and the warm temperatures in the classroom, I don't think it is a safe environment for food that needs to be kept cold. My son forgets everything at school, so I can no longer send him with insulated lunch bags or a thermos. So I have to think of items that can be stored a plain brown bag and not grow bacteria before lunch time. Guess I'm stuck with PB&J...
