Most children's vitamins do not contain Iron as it is dangerous for them to get too much, and since everything (bread, cereal, and juice) is iron, calcium and or Vitamin C fortified, it is too much to have in a multivitamin. I stick 1/4-1/3 cup of pureed pumpkin (canned) in many foods for my kids, as it is sweet and one "serving" contains 800% RDA Vitamin A (Beta Carotene.) It makes their Mac-n-cheese MUCH healthier, and less worries about them actually eating their vegetables!
