This is great. Many times the key to staying healthy and relieving pain is movement. The more people stay active an move, usually the less pain and symptoms they have associated with their arthritis. Pool exercise is also wonderful if you have access to it because it takes the load off the joints. www.denovopittsburgh.com

I want to hear more about prevention of gout. This is quite frankly, a very traumatic experience that I wouldn't want anyone to happen to them. The pain is really excruciating that can drive you crazy.

I suffer Arthristic in my spine. I have lost 52 pounds and am trying to eat right. I have noticed in the past 2 months I have been doing a lot better! The main thing I would say is because the weight loss has increased my attitude and ability to excersice every other day. As the summer approaches I am sure I will lose more weight and feel better than if I had been on all the pain meds I was on!

Great Information. It's really important to stay active and to stretch and walk as much as possible during the day. I sit at the computer all day at work and get really stiff. I have been trying to at least walk for 30 minutes at lunch. I also write a blog at http://blog.wellesse.com/blog.php/vital-to-health-and-wellness-blog about health and wellness and managing arthritis. It's important that we educate everyone about arthritis and what you can do if you suffer from it, as so many do.
