My baby daughter drew a picture. It's a circle with a line in it. Red and blue - one of hundreds of pictures. It's just a circle with a line in it and is in a pile of papers that I never look at. But my baby drew it. Why can't I just throw it away?

I am in the process of redoing my house - floor, painting, cleaning, getting rid of stuff. Giving a lot of things away, and cleaning up in general.

I am swimming in things. Things, things, things!!

But there are some things that are just hard to throw away. My daughter's drawings. Piles and piles of them. I already have albums of them.

The walls are decorated with them. Honestly, we hardly look at them. Should I just throw them away? Would I be relinquishing my treasures?

Why is it that so many material things are just so hard to give up?
