This article is good advice but I'd like to hear more about portion control and how to encorporate children in the learning process. I'm a mother in law working against both parents who work long hours and do not support my plight to control their 9 yr old's obesity. The child doesn't know any better and I'm trying to teach him but it's an uphill battle with the psychological wear and tear divorce puts on a family: guilt buying to please him and his pattern of manipulating to get what he wants. Being the only good role model is exhausting! How can I make this more fun for everyone without stepping on toes?
