I am the age of 66 and I too believe doctors do discriminate against the elderly. They would rather give a pill to the elderly than send them for tests as to why they are ill. After all, when you reach the age of 65, you receive old age pension and thus, you are a liability to the country, therefore, a pill and not the root of the problem, will be all you get, hopefully, you wont't be on old pension too long.

People the whole anti cholesterol, anti saturated fat paradigm is complete and utter B.S. and it does NOT have the furthering of public health in mind. There is NO EVIDENCE FOR LDL REDUCTION PEOPLE/ Reserachers in Oct 2006 ADMITTED this in the Archoives of Internal MedicineSee herehttp://www.lowcarbmuscle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162 References and all by ANTHONY COLPO Anthony Colpo Dr Uffe Ravnskov nad THINCS EXPOSE THIS UNFOUNDED NONSENSE THE LIPID HYPOTHESIS IS FRAUD AND IS SCIENTIFICALLY BASELESS AND I WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO EXPOSE THIS FRAUD http://www.ravnskov.nu/cholesterol.htm

Ancel Keys ERRONEOUS SEVEN COUNTRIES STUDY DOES NOT, DOES NOT SUPPORT THE LIPID HYPOTHESIS Directlt from "The Great Cholesterol Con" BY ANTHONY COLPO "The Cretans had an average serum cholesterol level of 202; across Greece on the island of Corfu cholesterol levels were 198 YET death rates from coronary heart disease were 5 times GREATER ON CORFU thann in Crete In Crevalacore and Montegiorgio two different districts in Italy mean serum cholesterol levels were identical YET death rates from coronary heart disease were 2.5 times greater in the fromer than the latter In Rome Croatia and the Netherlands cholesterol also showed NO RELATIONSHIP WITH CHD MORTALITY WITHIN, WITHIN NATIONS As with saturated fat cholesterol levels were NOT a reliable indicator of future coronarty mortality risk Within nations is very important because where residents experience similar political economic and cultural conditions confounding variables are less likely to be swayed DESPITE THESE FINDING Keys ERRONEOUSLY claimed his study supported the Lipid Hypothesis

ldlc-small dense particles are atherogenes but not those fluffy-large;when tryglicerides are over 120 mg% ,all ldlc are small/dense and all are fluffy/large (safe) if tryglicerides are below 120 mg%.Adiet very safe is a diet which creates low tryglicerides ,namely a low carb diet.PLEASE TRY THIS DIET !!You will realise this effect in some days.
