I awoke at 3am on August 21st. with my left arm throbbing from the palm of my hand to my shoulder,what did I do ? I got up and sat at the computer trying just to forget about the pain in my arm and shoulder,,,Was like 4:30am the pain was easing up and I decided to try and get a little more sleep. I tossed and turned for awhile and finally went back to sleep, until like 8:30am,,(later the doctor informed me that I was very lucky to have woke up at all ) Upon awakening the pain was almost gone, thou my arm had a heavy feeling and I felt aware of something not right all day,At exactly 3pm that afternoon the pain returned , this time it was severe and would not let up,, It involved my entire arm and was radating up my arm, my shoulder, neck, jaw, and chest,, My son drove me to the hospital, Upon arrival there they could get no blood presure,,after starting IV's and injecting some type of medication my blood pressure returned ,,, it was 204 /113,,,Upon testing they found my right cornary artery to be 100 % blocked, and I was taken immediately to the Cath Lab and had a Taxus stent put in,, Afterwards was in the CCU for four days..My heart attack happened on a Tuesday and I'm a woman
