Its now four months since my dad suffered a mild stroke. After we had rushed him to hospital he was diagnosed with blood pressure. The doctor pescribed some medicine and gave him injections that lowered the pressure and has been taking tablets and going for checkups ever since. His pressure according to us is quite peculiar since he doesnt feel anything when the pressure has gone up.This is particularly where our worries lay. What exactly could be the big problem behind the unstable pressure reading considering that heis living a stress free life with all the dos and donts followed.

I have been on Lisinopril for a few years. Will this new drug be one to substitute for the Lisinopril? The only side effect I have had thus far is the dry cough.

When will this medication be on the market in the US? I currently take Maxzide ER, Lisinopril twice a day, and Chlorthalidone and my B/P still remains in the 135/98 range and higher. Will it be priced too high for the average person to afford?

Hope everyone has heard about RED YEAST RICE. You can get it over the counter and my blood pressure has never been better -- Several of my friends have tried it and all but one has lowered their blood pressure. I had been on prescribed blood pressure medication for 4 years and this works just as well. Try it ----------you can't lose----------
