One of the first medications prescribed is a blood pressure medication. Blood pressure medications can cause a large rise in triglycerides. Then medications to lower triglycerides will be prescribed. Of course these medications all have side effects that will require other prescriptions to treat. Soon you will be on several medications and the medicos will be making plenty of money off you. Break free of this vicious cycle by avoiding processed foods and drinks of all kinds. Eat foods from local small farms and get to know the producers.

To M. Shih: "Eat too much beef is a main reason for woman breast cancers!" Wake up and fly straight, or you're an accident waiting to happen. Many of us women who had metastatic breastcancer were non-meat eaters, if you please. And, praytell, what is your source of genes and experience?

Can you answer 3 questions herein? Why is there plack buildup in the arteries but not in the veins? Not sure I agree with your Cholesterol level, espcially in the aging individuals when the treatment becomes worse than the cure. Lastly, off track, with your endo background, post-TBIs 8-10 years its being recommended that the lgF 1 and GH levels be performed, although pulasatile, repeated, and if low administer some GH. What is your opinion on this? Granted, we need our hormones, and low levels in those two tests contribute to morbidity and mortality. Thus??? Thank you. You may email directly.

I know my triglycerides are high, but my doctor seems more concerned about my cholesterol. Should I ask him about tricor to lower them?
