    its indeed a very accessible way to know the risk and very helpful too specially to those who can't afford to have thier blood chems checked.

    I read that the waist-to-hip ratio should be below 0.90 for men. My waist-to-hip ration is 0.95 and my waist size is 34.5. This article indicates that I am not at high risk since my waist-to-hip is below 1.0 and my waist is below 40.
