Anyone who allows themselves to believe that obesity is not going to cause major health problems is in denial. Sure it's harder for some, but most ppl can get their weight under control. And the time to start is now, not tomorrow!

"There's no need for more of these studies, either." Right! We have common sense that says that fat people are losers and gonna die in much more stinking way than thin ones and we don't need no facts which tell us otherwise!

#2 Common sense says obese ppl need to lose weight NOT that they are losers. Common sense says we don't need more studies about the dangers of obesity because we know obesity is much more dangerous to your health than being fit is. No need for bitterness or negativity...

Waist size has proven to be the best correlation with future health. Increased intra-abdominal fat is associated with insulin resistance, elevated blood glucose, elevations in blood lipids, and increased risk for oxidative stress in our arteries resulting in cardiovascular disease. There are lots of studies but the above risks are real and well documented. We are at risk for some problem because we are alive. Too much fat in our bodies from too little exercise and too much food increases our risk. If you are thin but have too much intra-abdominal fat you too are at risk. To determine you risk determine your waist to hip ratio. Divide your waist size by your hip size. The closer to one you are the greater your risk. Those with smaller hips so that the ratio is greater than one are really in danger in the future. I have blogged about this at www.gettheskinney.com

If you want to reduce your weight, you need to do a lot of exercise to accelerate your metabolism. It's better if you do cardiovascular exercise, because this kind of exercise helps you burn fat... You should begin with a good eating plan, combining fats and sweets with fruits and vegetables. It will be better if you drink at least eight glasses of water daily to control your calories and your cholesterol. If you want you can use some pills to control your weight and to accelerate the process of burning fat. I know some pills which you can use to reduce your weight. Those pills are Xenical. Its results are excellent and fast. Visit this website to find more information: http://www.todoenmedicamentos.com
