Hi! I was just wondering, according to www.americanheart.org, cvd is the leading cause of death for women. Now having high blood pressure can result in the cause of cvd. What happens if some people who are having heart issues takes aspirin for their heart pain when they are experincing some issues? So would the Bayer and St. John Wart's commercial are misleading becausing it technicly can cause high blood pressure if usuage continue for a long time and high blood pressure can cause heart diseases?

Well it depends how much you drink. According to www.ahajournals.org, which is fron American heart Association, consuming one to two drinks a day can have a health benefits ( one drink is like a 12 oz beer)Anything more than that increases your health risk. As always Never take medications with any alcohol!

I have been having severe lower back pain for about a year. I have been given steroids and am on tramadol 50 mg now. But even with taking Bisoprolol/HCTZ for my blood pressure it still goes way up. Yesterday it was 168/102. what do you suggest?
