I've improved my fitness and eating habits during the past three months. I was so fearful that I would develop heart problems or diabetes or even hypertension that I had to do something before I found myself in a doctor's office with one on those dreaded dianoses. My weight is coming down and I am feeling a lot better.

¢Ñ I guess I'm ready to die. There's just not anything worth fighting for, anymore. My girlfriend ran off with an ecstasy junky from Mexico and last week, I noticed she's pregnant again. The USA that my dad fought for is not the USA I'm willing to fight for. I think that another massive catastrophe is due and it might be a crack through Yucca mountain.

losing weight involves increased physical activity, which in turn improves cardiovascular health so, basically they go hand in hand. True?

Not always, I do 45 min of cardio and 30 min of weights 4 days a week. I am 5'3" and weigh 155 - all my friends are much thinner but I could run circles around them all. with my great diet and fitness level I should be about 120 - go figure!

I'm in deep trouble and need help. I use to be really fit(at least I thought I was)even weighed 126 lbs. Then in April of 04 I had a heart attack and was told if I didn't have surgery right away that I would be dead in a month. I had open heart surgery, had to have my right vaule replaced with a mechanical one in and my left side had to be sewn in 2 different place. Was told my heart was over worked. Had to take things easy and now I weigh 160 lbs. I feel unhealthiy and fat, worse then what I felt before I had the attack. I want to lose at least 30 to 40 lbs. because at 4'11" being heavy looks double in size. I want to do light dancing to lose but I have a 1 bedroom apartment and not comfortable dancing in front of my husband.I'm 50 yr. old and we've been together 31 yrs. but I still feel this way. I've always felt as though I'm not good enough for him or our daughter. Can anyone help me lose weight? I wish I had someone to workout with, maybe then I wouldn't be uncomfortable dancing. All I know is We hardly eat and still gaining weight. I NEED HELP, PLEASE Thank you, Me

I am so clueless! I had a baby girl in July of 05 and I never gained any weight when I was pregnant, my doctor was even worried about it, since I lost weight. I started at a size 9 and at right around 155. Now way after she is here and I am active enough with her and my son, who is 6, I have gained weight! I am a size 18 and I weigh on the tip of hitting 200! I am so upset and sort of depressed. Nothing has changed from the beginning to now so what is the deal? If anyone knows from experience on what I am going thru or even close to what I am talking about PLEASE let me know! I need some help with this one! Thanks!!
