This article just proves once again, that anything in moderation...it does a body good! Our bodies are designed for all the foodgroups including liquids. There really can be...too much of a good thing! --- Something I always did wonder about...celebrity drinkers, can they not afford a cab or a limo? Why do they feel the need to drive?

Most people I know do not have one drink every day, they go out once a week and have two or three drinks. It would be interesting to see a study on the effects of alcohol in real life conditions.

I agree with comment #5. Who has one (perfectly measured) 5-ounce glass of wine everyday? In my group of 30-something, healthy, social friends, we will either have nothing during the week (ok, maybe one) and get together for a few drinks (3 or 4) over dinner on the weekend. Nobody gets smashed (that’s so passé), nobody gets behind the wheel, and nobody ends up with even a hangover! I don’t know – is this unhealthy???

The main thing about drinking is YOU DO HAVE TO KNOW WHEN TO STOP. Most people who drink are drinking to have fun, but when you have too many drinks, you can black out and do things that you would never even think of doing if you were sober. You can hurt people that you care about and have regrets for years to come. I really don't thinking that the alchohal is worth those consequences. If you don't know when to stop (meaning at 2 or 3 drinks when you're tipsy enough already) then you shouldn't drink at all. But that's just my opinion, although the reason I know these things can happen is because when I was 18, I was drinking too much and I hurt people that I love, and I still regret things that I've done. I learned my lesson though, and that's what counts.

One or two drinks in the morning, and in the evening has helped to relieve stress at work. This has reduced my blood pressure.
