I've discovered that wheat is the cause of much of my acid reflux. It may be that your 2 year old has an intolerance to wheat.

Hi Victor, I too experience the rapid heartbeat from gas and also experience asthma. I know chewing gum after eating can help, also vinegar in some warm water helps, cinnamon I hear helps, along with Orange Peel extract and taking calcium.

my 11 year old son has been lactose intolerant all his life. We watch what he eats very carefully. However since last June, his stomach has been hurting alot more. We moved to Texas from AZ in July and in September, he started getting headaches, vomiting, diarrhea, and fevers. This happens consistently every 3 to 4 weeks with the same symptoms. The doctors have done blood work, and x rays and he has been taking GERD medicine. No infections have been found, his liver is working good. But he still keeps getting sick. They dont seem to know what wrong. One doctor suggested maybe is allergic to a food besides milk products. Any comments?

I have Gerd also. I get heartburn even from plain old water. I take Nexuim. Losing weight and not wearing tight waisted pants helps. Keep your stress down also.. Sometimes I have to take the Nexuim 2 times a day just to keep the heartburn at bay. Just don't get discouraged I have had the surgery, it helped a lot, but it has been 7 or 8 years now, and it started back up about 2 years ago. It is not as bad as it was but at times it feels like hel* . To the mom in Texas, what about Lyme disease? I got bit by a tick in Sedona and was not diagnosed until last year. I had the same symptoms as your son.
