So, on the one hand we are told to avoid increasing dose decrease risk , but the recommendation is one baby aspirin (81 mg) per day, or one regular aspirin (325 mg) every other day. 325/4 = 81 which is double the dose. Does anyone think before offerng advice?

It is a well known fact in reseach where I used to work that Aspirin offers very little if any protection and long term use will increase stroke and heart attack by 10X. I would never recommend it and unfortunately MD's today have no clue about how to make proper dietary modifications to deal with the underlying inflammation which is 100% dietary and 100% preventable. As for Aspirin, it was Bayer Co., the maker of Aspirin that paid for the studies saying it was effective so I don't have to say what a disgrace and conflict of interest our entire system is.
