I don't understand the statement about the need for caution in drawing conclusions from the population study. The data shows a correlation between testosterone levels and avoiding a number of health problems. The sample size was large, and the reduction in health problems was statistically too significant to be ignored. The fact that estrogen replacement in women did not show a similar correlation is not relevant, because typically, estrogen replacement therapy uses artificial (patented) forms of estrogen, and not bio-identical estrogen.
The article here also fails to mention that besides direct testosterone replacement therapy, one can stimulate their testes to produce more testosterone by using Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), which is the prefered way to get testosterone levels back to normal healthy levels.
