    Hi Dr. The DNA in the red blood cell as you said will get damage when you have CT scan. If you deside to have children would your children be effected in child birth. eg: Down syndrome or some other deformity.

    Hi Dr Is MRI safer than CT-scan for some body who had Pancreatic cancer and will it cause you to have more chemo

    I have been considering having another CT scan, 2 years after a stent implant-to see if that artery is working ok. This causes me to have second thoughts.

    Great article!!! Having been in a children's hospital and having had numerous ortheopedic surgeries, I was exposed to a lot excessive radiation as a child... so this is good info. That was some 40 years ago and they used to perform X-rays like they were going out of style!! LOL... there were many before surgery X-rays, then after surgery X-rays and then some more to check progress.. and of course, X-rays during the surgery, and would do at least 3 surgeries during a 3-4 month stay at the hospital.
