This is a joke!! Get the company that creates the drug to say whether it's safe and effective or not? How about requiring docs/hospitals/etc to report adverse events and keep track? My own doc laughed at me when I tried to tell her about side effects of statins I had.....now you KNOW that doc never reported these side effects to the drug company or anyone else. If she were required to report these side effects, regardless of her opinion of the cause and effect (she believed me when she tried a second drug that gave the same side effect!), then they would be reported.....but the drug companies can only report what is reported to them....and I'm sure they're going to try and make their drug appear as safe and effective as possible!
