The best energy can be obtained through exercize and a good diet - NOT an "energy" drink.

UV Cherry flavored vodka and Red Bull is the best. I call it electric Kool Aid.

The only thing missing in the water debate at the start is how healthy is the water in your town? My town I switched to bottled when newspapers were reporting how they were pulling shopping carts and other random objects from the town drinking supply. Energy Drinks I don't trust them and never have. I never fell for that whole "TO THE EXTREME!" Advertising lingo 10 years ago, but my God 80mg?! No wonder I was twitching like I was about to have a seizer the one time I actually tried the stuff. It's like effedra too much could probably kill you.

well, when it comes to water, where we live, it is very hard, I get the Sierra Springs because the taste diffeence is wortht he price, and my kids have been drinking it like crazy so there is a benefit there. It would be interesting to know how many people have had medical emergencies due to slamming too mnay energy drinks

I see this article only names Red Bull, when there are dozens of "energy drinks" on the market. Does all of them have "questionable" ingredients?

I agree. I stopped drinking energy drinks everyday. The side effects outway the drink. They make me down and tired after only a couple of hours.

I agree about the heart palpitations, ever since I started drinking those drinks I've noticed that my heart beats alot harder and also I just don't sleep the same way anymore.

There IS an energy drink that is good for you! The brand is XS Energy Drinks. THey only have 8 calories, and 0 CARBS, 0 SUGAR! there are 9 flavors and they are delicious!(they don't taste like nyquil like red bull does!) they have caffeine, but it is just enough to get you going. It doesn't make you jittery. They also contain vitamins!
