Sounds awful I know few who like hummus and tofu. Also try green tea better than water.

Thanks for the great tips, loved the "hangry" word, that happens to me. My poor husband, but now it's happening to him too.

Cucumbers and hummus go great together. Soft tofu instead of ricotta cheese in lasagna fooled my meat eating husband and college aged sons. I've lost 20 lbs in 2 months just by doing this and cutting out the "whites".

Same old stuff, same old stuff and finally--same old stuff! If this gal lost 30 pounds this year eating like this, I'd have to know a lot more about this lady and her life. Obviously , if a person was in a Russian prison camp eating a bowl of soup with a potator floating in it--once a day--he'd lose weight, so we know portion control works. But who practices it? I ran 3 miles a day for 35 years and didn't gain an ounce--but how many have discipline like that? Hmnn?

I've done this too and lost 25 lbs! Walking also helps the pounds fall off.

Yes, that's right! I eat peanut butter in my oatmeal every morning and I'm not hungry until lunch time! I also incorporated almond or walnuts as a snack at night. I switched from cow's milk to soy and my cholesterol has dropped dramatically eating this way.

I am willing to try anything as long as I don't have to count calories. This sounds great, and the tips are quite attainable for me, thanks for the advice.
