I love all the health tips because I have children and grand children plus for my own benefit, I'm constantly wanting to prove how important it is to take care of ourselves..and seeing proof in writing is my best proof to them that I know what I'm talking about.. We only have one body and it's so important to take care of it.

this study is rediculous! obviously people who take in vitamin C will be healthier and skinnier than people who dont take in vitamin C. Usually the people who take in vitamin C are people who are going to generally eat healthier and live healthier lifestyles. People who dont take in vitamin C are generally people who dont eat as much fruit and dont live healthier lifestyles. pretty obvious to me that the people who eat more fruit than McDonalds during the day will have less fat on their body.

This does not work for everyone. I take 1000 mg of Vitamin C everyday. My biggest weigh loss problem is my waistline area. Go figure.

Sweetners are poison, but no one will admit it. If you must use sweetner, use the real thing, but no the white refined stuff..buy the raw, cane sugar. It's brown, but don't confuse it with the brown sugar you bake with, that's as bad as the white refined garbage. Forget what the government tells you, educate yourself,no one else is responsible for you but you. Healthy eating, folks. Bobbi

It's never good to break down food in blenders and juicers. Allow the body to do the breaking down for you. It keeps up your metabolism and prevents you from overloading your body with sugar that will immediately turn to fat.

I bought a "Woman's World" a few weeks back (it had Valeri Bertinelli on the cover). My point is: There's a lot of stuff I'm reading in these magazines these days making nutritional claims that I don't think hold up. The Woman's World had an article that claimed (among other fruit-related claims) that Goji Berries have loads and loads of iron (oh, yeah). I went to the health food store and inspected some packages. I think I saw levels of "10 percent" at best per serving. I suppose they mean, if you eat the whole package??? Anyway, I'm just saying, be wary! I'm not sure some of these nutritional claims about certain vitamins and etc. are correct.

Nobel Prize Winner Dr. Linus Pauling pioneered this method. Pauling was successful as an author and educator. His first book, The Nature of the Chemical Bond (1939), is considered influential even to this day, as is his introductory textbook, General Chemistry (1949). Later in life, he became an advocate for greatly increased consumption of vitamin C and other nutrients. He generalized his ideas to define orthomolecular medicine, which is still regarded as unorthodox by conventional medicine. He popularized his concepts, analyses, research and insights in several successful but controversial books, such as How to Live Longer and Feel Better in 1986.

Ready some of your comments, mostly the womens and there "jelly-roll" or muffin top bellies could be a sign of poor digestion. Look into colon hydrotherapy...most results lead to a flatter tummy and much healthier insides!
