Try a V8 instead of soda. It's actually filling and the taste is not half bad once you get used to it.

Are you kidding me? is it really news that sodas, diet and regular, are big culprits of many modern ills and obesity? thanks for filling me in as I have been under a rock for the past 8 years. Next thing you will tell me is that daily exercise and a balanced diet will help me physically, emotionally. Of course I hope you spend millions of dollars on a study to 'determine' all this. Thanks guys, you are really ahead of the health curve (not)

If you count calories or are watching what you are eating then the diet soda theory loses all its credibility. Diet soda has no calories. I don't think drinking makes me eat more. I eat the same amount of calories each day....

That sounds great and all but what would you use as a sweetner in your tea, coffee, or other non soda type beverage??? Sugar is not an option there either.

I like to drink water with lemon as a substitute, but I still will have to stop using the artificial sweetener.

These are the types of Topics that really make me hate the media and all that it does. They never tell you the basis of their sutdy, and it never has all the facts. The facts are that people make themselves fat and obese due to lack of control and discipline. It is not the food or drink that is available to them, it is themselves. I am tired of all the finger pointing at everything out there instead of people just looking in the mirror. If you want nutritional information for a food product, or you want to dispel Myth's that float around the internet, go to the manufacturers websites and get the facts. Don't assume that every Journalist out there is going to give you 100% accurate information from all sides of the story.

Wow, I drink 2 Coke zeros a day and I've lost over 20 lbs. I also plan my meals instead of spontaneously binge eating. This info is for the very lazy and weak willed.

I gave up diet coke over a year ago due to all the chemicals involved. My nutritionist made me go cold turkey, thank God no withdrawal headaches. Mentally and physically I feel so much better! The key is to drink lots of water!!!

shes just saying that cuz shes a skinney @554073. Diet pop is fine. everyone tries to make it out to be bad for you. you just have to watch your calories and treat diet pop like a glass of water.

This makes sense. I switched to diet a year ago in an effort to lose a little without changing my whole diet (Instead of 2 Pepsi's a day, I switched to diet). Sadly, NO RESULTS! I think I'll be sticking to water now! Thanks!
