I try to do intervals when I do my treadmill. I saw them doing that on the Biggest Loser too.

How about biking outside...Natural intervals. Steep hill for 1 minute, flat for 5 minutes, another hill, another flat. I find it accomplishes the interval intent naturally.

Great advice, but it doesn't help ALOT because some people (like me) can't exactly sprint or jog. Would walking for 30 minutes and taking a break and another walk for 30 minutes work?

OMG this is so true! I work out at Ladies Workout Express where we do just that. For 30 minutes you work your entire body switching from strength training to cardio throughout the 30 minutes. I've been exercising (running, aerobics, weight lifting, elipticals) for most of my adult life and have seen the most results since I started working out here.

The thought of a brisk walk everyday for only 20 minutes to lose the extra flab around my thighs has really motivated me. I think I could do that for 20 minutes each day. Will let you know how it works for me after a few weeks of doing it.

Body For Life uses a similiar cardio plan as part of their cardio / weight training schedule. It works.

LOL 20 minutes. as long as you warm up for atleast 10 and stretch well, then you can sprint on and off all you want.

Jogging Never helped anyone. It damages your legs and can cause serious issues in your later years

This is a great article. But remember, even the same exercise routine (walking or jogging) will still burn the calories! Don't be discouraged if you enjoy the same exercise routine every day, keep it up!

Does that logic stand to prove the same when walking/jogging?
