Thinking about my day seems to help me a lot too. Especially because I have a bad habit of cramming. XD

I am one who burns the midnite oil every night of the week. I have to because those are the hours I work. I never get to bed until at least 7:30 am. The only way I have been able to sleep during the day for the past 10 years is to turn on a fan, put earplugs in and pop a couple of over the counter sleeping pills. That gives me about 6 hours of sleep per day. Wish I could get more, but it seems I have an internal alarm that wakes me at a certain time each day.

Many blends of all natural essential oils also aid in promoting sleep. But avoid those suffocating artificial scent / fragrance oil, just disgusting stuff. Check out Earthority dot com for aromatherapy gear & info.

I heard that sleep allows the brain to produce melatonin which is a free radical 'scrubber'. I know free radicals are bad for me so... Could you expound on this issue? Thanks
