10 grams of sugar? 40% of the calories come from corn syrup? Too much. Go with Oatmeal with no sugar added. Use a little equal and Sweet N Low together. Together they taste just like sugar.

While I totally agree the cereals are great snack and diet foods, the author seemed to miss the boat on this one. There are many NORMAL cereals that are just as good or better than the ones listed, seemed like maybe the author was pushing these cereals for personal gain. Even Honey Nut Cheerios have less than 9g of Sugar per 100 calories. Grape-nuts are awesome to snack on if your teeth are good, they taste like hickory nuts. Cheerios, rice krispies, etc are good tasting, while not diet killers, plus much lower in price than the ones listed.

Newman's Own Honey Flax Flakes are great too they meet these requirements and have about 8 ingredients. Yummy with a few raisins mixed in!

I lost 20 pounds eating cereal for both breakfast and lunch twice a day. I also went to the gym 3 days a week as I normally did.

What about Special K Vanilla Almond? It is 9 grams sugar and 25 grams carbs per serving! Plus it's always on sale like 2 boxes for $6 or $7 bucks : )
