^^agreed. not thrilled with the sugar or fat free suggestions. many times teh sugar free stuff has artificial sweeteners in it such as aspartame which is WORSE than the sugar. additionally, fat free diary products don't ame much sense ebcause you need the fat to absord teh FAT SOLUABLE vitamins in it. also curious as to how one paragraph can suggest coffee may fend off diabetes, but another tells those who are type II diabetics to drink less/none?

I LOVE my coffee but I disagree with sugar-free, I AVOID the sugar-free flavored creamer I use and will only drink the sugar one. I'd rather have natural sugar (or at least more natural sugar) and a few more calories than eat chemicals (Splenda) with less calories. I also love the green tea!

What a wonderful, informational article! I'm happy to read all the positives of coffee and am anxious to share this article with friends. Maybe they will quit telling me my morning pot is soo bad for me.

One benefit I find most important is the fact that coffee loosens the stools... kinda gross to think about yet hard to miss. Kinda one of the unmentionables.

When you block your receptors to pain during a workout you can harm yourself by overstressing your muscles and joints. Caffeine is a drug and addicting and it takes more over a period of time to feel any effects and, there are withdrawal symptoms. Balance and moderation in everything is the healthiest way to live.
