Crap crap crap. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is to count calories & exercise. It's hard work. Anyone who pretends otherwise is just feeding the people a line of crap to get hits on her blog.

Great tips. I will also add that I make my girlfriend drink 1/2 gallon of water before every meal within 20 mins. Meals at my apartment only last for 20 mins, so if she goes 10 mins over trying to get the half gallon down she "looses" half her meal time. It works really really great, a lot of the time she is too full to even eat... More for me ;). If you set meals only 3-4 times a day then you have no other options to eat then or wait till the next one. Even when she forces somthing down, she can barely ever finish!!!

Joy in Seattle, don't even know where to start with that comment? You don't need to count calories. If you do you might want to get treated for a obcessive compulsive disorder. Good Luck we are all pulling for you!

I have many people ask me how I have lost weight, like they expect the magic answer. Exercise and moderation. I do splurge, but I noticed the weight came off the fastest with exercise, everything that was said is common sense all put in one place. Add exercise, and you have a fool proof plan.
