Thank you for the small bit of sanity and reason. I've struggled with my weight going up and down over the years, but I've always been "big" and "thick", even at my smallest (160). Trying to think about who and why I'm doing these things might be the trick I need to stay consisitent.

these are great tips. My reason for striving to be healthy(and look good as well) is I am 34 years old and have degenreative disease and have had two surgeries in the past two years and becoming strong and stay at a helathy weight is the only way to prevent the next surgery(metal plates between my disks)... I believe I am so much luckier than some who do not have the gift of good health, family and friends as I do. Always think positive and positive will return to you! Thanks Gabby!!

I want to say one thing I have found a blog that I really enjoy to read and not feel bad about how heavy I may look. Some of the blogs made me really think about everything I wasn't thinking. And really if you think about it, like do I really want to get up to go workout? can I just wait until I get home to make something to eat? oh one little snack won't matter. But all of those things do matter and that's why I haven't been losing the weight because really I'm just being lazy.
