Come on! You are having a baby soon and you only think that you are fat. the more important thing is that you give birth to a healthy child. think for once about your baby not your shape. later on you can start thinking on ways or how to lose the pregnancy weight.

It was New Years 27 years ago that, as a teen, I made a lifestyle choice that stuck with me all of this time. I quit eating meat, and I can still recall my parents' concern over protein, endurance, etc. I am entering my 30th year in police work (retired as a Police captain, began career #2 as a sheriff), and I have never felt better. I still do Alcatraz to SF swims, and have completed 4 marathons since my 45th b-day. I'm no wonder-boy athelete--I just enjoy life. One thing was missing and I hope it is of inspiration to vegans, vegetarians, or animal lovers: I wanted to make a music CD that addressed life as a vegetarian in a carnivorous world, so to speak. I use humor and even life through the lens of animals to inspire and entertain. I wrote all 18 songs and play all of the musical instruments. It is one-of-a-kind stuff you can hear @ www.vegantunes.com

Great article it was very informative, I think alot of readers should take the time to read this article and apply it too their everyday agenda. I know I will because sometimes you know how to attack a problem but, it will not take affect upon you until you hear someone else say it or you read an article like this one that makes you realize "I need to do something" about my health.

Apparently, you have a short memory or a long time between children. I've had three who went to term and I only gained 15 to 20 pounds. Starting around the 8th month, I started to get tired more easily. But tjat was both physical and emotional. The last month or so, you are not only physically tired but you are anticipating the birth (how long will the labor be, is it going to go okay, will the baby be alright, will the baby be a happy baby or a fussy one, etc. Believe me unless you're completely completelly self absorbed with your own body, you should be more concerned with caring for the baby's needs first instead ofplanning on getting your body to look like it did before you got pregnant. Incidently I too was overweight when I got pregnant

Wonderful advise. I've just copied this page. I will take away a can do attitude and anxious to get started. Will try to keep a journal . In the past I've never stick to it. Too lazy? Too busy filling my days with other stuff. Just don't take "quality" time for myself! Maybe this time I'll make it happen. Thanks Suzie-Q(69)Years old!

This entry has actually inspired me to work-out this year. Also it has taught me not to rely on my emotions and to stop making excuses. So, thanks
