Right on Gabby! I've been trying to do this myself, lately, in an attempt to stave off workout boredom. I've honestly found that trying new things and gaining new experiences has many more benefits than just keeping myr workout interesting.

I just started doing this a few weeks ago because I could never keep going to the gym when all I ever did was running on the treadmill. Now I do two different classes at the gym that incorporate dance moves and I love it. I've been so inspired to get healthy I've started my own blog about healthy living, weight loss and fitness. www.realworldhealth.blogspot.com

Mixing up your workouts by taking a dance lesson is a great idea. I tried a cool learn at home DVD called First Dance Fabulous, that I got from a blog called The Wedding Dance Expert. It's fun, it gets you moving, and it's not just good for you, it's good for your relationship, too. If you're in the San Diego area, you should do a web search for Mary Pinizzotto. She's an incredible teacher and her classes are very fun.

What great advice! I am happy to say that I have been in the gym more regularly recently and even if I take a couple of different classes at the gym, it helps to keep things exciting. I would love to have more activities outside but Chicago and good weather don't go together often at this time of the year.

CrossFit.com is one of the best things that has ever happned to me. The program is challenging, offers variety, and provides a community of people who are positive and supportive. It's for people of all fitness levels.

Very wise advice. From past 1 yr, i have been trying on breaking my monotonous routine and bring some life in my round-the-clock boring routine..And trust me, it works. Sometimes you might end up wasting some money to get a different expereince but I say it is worth it because it refreshes your mind and gives you a kickstart for week aheah!!
