"The heavy impact of food on our psyche is crazy" So what if you stopped telling people they should feel bad about eating? My pizza doesn't have sugar in it and NOBODY should feel bad about making a meal of pizza. MAYBE its better for us to indeed MAKE A MEAL of twinkies and enjoy it, get it out of your system rather than MAKING our crazy psyches feel the heavy impact of wanting a continuous twinkie in our system. STOP TELLING PEOPLE HOW TO EAT!!! PEOPLE, don't listen to me ---don't listen to skinny smiley bloggers!

You're totally right about all of this. I hate it because I know it too. But, I think it's good for all of us to be reminded of this...in print. =) I know that I wouldn't have to work so freaking hard on the treadmill if I didn't eat so much sugar. Arrgh!

I am a coke-a-holic. I can't get away from the lovely sugary drinks. I try to cut back to even one a day, but find myself needing just one more.

Actually I have to disagree with this comment: "Put only living food on your plate for your meals, such as fresh fruits and veggies (not the kind out of cans, microwaves, or bags, or anything will still be edible in 50 years)." Frozen vegetables are just as nutritious as fresh ones. Often more so because they are picked at the peak of their season instead of any time the chemicals and artificial colorings say they are ready. Frozen vegetables and fruits are no worse than fresh ones (and much less dangerous).
