So true. Downsizing the poison you like helps you to stop eating or drinking it. Even making a simple list every day of what you consume will put you on the road to eating better. You'll want to put down healthier food on your list too. It helped me lose weight and focus on what I was really eating.

I'm a trainer and I completely agree. Too many people hurt themselves and then think they can"t exercise at all.

calendars i found are and excellent way to not only keep track, but make you accountable. plan ahead for activities on the weekend for you and your family. the more you write down, the more likely you are to follow through with it. *cheers*

Preach on, Gabby! I have a pal who is going "raw foods" which I support her on. Truth is, I cannot follow her on that path. I'm just happy to make one good meal choice a day if possible. And if I don't succeed one day, I know the fight isn't over. And baby steps is the way to go. I am/was/will be a sugar soda junkie. But to fight that behavior, I've sworn off my favorite popular brand cola, and try to drink a big glass/cup of mostly water, with a little bit of sugary fruit punch/energy drink/lemonade for flavor. It's more about breaking the habitual cycle I have with that soda brand and my emotional connection to it [and the unbelievable extra calories!] than about denying myself pleasure. After just a few weeks of trying this tactic, I've even been able to go eat out and just drink water. If the people who know me best knew that, their jaws would drop. Trust. If you have your goal, and you look at your goal as a destination, then you can't seriously think that you can teleport yourself there without some major drawbacks. Don't rush it and don't police yourself into not enjoying the life and the choices you make. Okay, I'm off my soap box.

I think that this will help me a lot. I am 15, and my goal is to get toned, thats it! Not throw up it my bathroom. why is it that some of my fellow teens turn to such crazy measures? I think this is an amazing way to accomplish any goals that anyone has when it comes to getting healthy, and this is the way to go. YOU GO GABBY!

Guess what! If you are slim and you don't FEEL slim the problem is that your muscles aren't firmed up. Others tell us we are slim but we know better because we don't feel slim. It is just that our muscles aren't pulling us in and giving us support. AT LAST! I figured this out.
