It's good to see some common sense advice. Not only will you lose weight, you will be healthier (from eating veggies) but fitter which leads to a better lifestyle as you will have more energy and add an extra skip in you step which no doubt will draw people to you.

I agree. But excercise with a combination of a healthy diet is more successfull. I don't believe that in just doing the excercises and sticking to a normal diet.

Australia: The fattest nation in the world. Fatter than the U.S. even. I'm a busy mother of two and I still manage to watch what I eat AND workout four times a week. I workout when my baby naps for 20 mins and at night when both of them are asleep. Everything in moderation peeps. You'll feel great!

Why does this article use the (American) unit calorie, actually kilocalorie, rather than the correct international unit kilojoule?

Glitter, are you an idiot? Calories is an Australian thing. Don't be so lazy, look it up yourself. Or, here's an idea, why don't you WALK to your local library and get a book that'll help you!
