I don't agree with the listing of Smoothie King's The Hulk here as the worst smoothie. Clearly someone looking for a law calorie smoothie isn't going to order the smoothie, and someone looking for something high calorie will. As someone who is actually chronically underweight, The Hulk sounds like something I might try to have on occasion, so I suppose I can thank you for the mention, but don't list something as being negative that caters to a particular demographic.

my issue with these articles is and always has been that they always use an apples to oranges comparison. they mark the bad drink in the biggest sized... super sized... whatever it takes to get the total as high as possible, and then for the alterior option it is the smallest size offered by the same restaurant. if they were to use the same sizes for comparisons the huge implied caloric drop would be substantially less... thereby making the article fruitless.

Good advice! Keep up the good work. I stopped smoking almost 2 years ago, and guess what? Food started tasting better. Gained a few pounds. Noticed the gain and pared down portions. I'm four pounds lighter,{ my regular weight}. And don't have to starve myself!

Why does this idiot continue to get paid? Every couple weeks or so he just comes out with darn near the same exact story. Like anyone with a brain would think any of these drinks was good for them? What a load of BS.

I make smoothies at home, using frest frozen berries, splenda, low fat milk, non fat yogurt and orange juice or water. Is this as bad as the one's listed above? All of the above drinks are just too big! Doesn't the American public know by now that bigger is not better?

WHY DOES MEN'S HEALTH MAGAZINE ALWAYS TALK ABOUT FOODS, BRANDS AND RESTAURANT CHAINS THAT AREN'T NATIONAL? HERE IN LOS ANGELES, WE'VE NEVER HEARD OF 'COSI' AND 'SMOOTHIE KING.' THEY SHOULD ONLY TALK ABOUT BRANDS AND CHAINS THAT ARE IN MOST AREAS OF THE COUNTRY.

Jim (#9), I too live in California and while Smoothie Kings aren't as popular as Jamba Juices, they do have them here throughout California. Haven't heard of "Cosi" though.
