I said for a different article that I hated the articles you do, but this one is awesome! Glad to see you do some stuff that is not so calorie based, but just has some interesting tidbits. Keep it up!

It has been demonstrated that there is NO proven benefit from antioxidants in our diet.. Furthermore, the blood-brain barrier does not allow most chemicals to enter the brain. This article is just more of the same from the food police.

David Z strikes once again with questionable "facts" and advise. Soda does not cause depression and bagels and carbs don't equate to the urban legend of Turkey making you sleepy. FACT: Turkey does not make you sleepy. The levels of tryptophan needed to make you feel sleepy would require you to eat 60 pounds of Turkey! David Z is nothing but a salesman for his books, the advice is more or less common sense but he seasons it with a bunch of hogwash and urban legends.

Instead of animal products in salads, try garbanzo, black or pinto beans. Or, cashews, walnuts, almonds or pecans.

This is a great web site. I love your Yahoo info. EVen I as a nutrition specialist I don't have all of the info you have given us here. I do now! But, in the face of higher prices for everything, I would appreciate being able to print this off so I wouldn't use up all of my colored ink so fast! I am old and need reminders, so I print out good information. Eventually, I will have eaten enough blueberries to improve my memory. Please consider us poor old folks and don't make us print the colored pictures. Thank you.
