Most of these are pretty obvious...and besides how can you compare a 32 oz large milkshake with what's probably 8 oz of ice cream? Since it's the exact same mix, of course 32 oz would be worse than 8 oz.

This was very informative. I am a big lover of the Strawberry Cheesequake from Dairy Queen, but it seems as thought those aren't the best things to eat. :)

I appreciate the attempt to make America healthier but please get your statistics correct. Arby's Market Fresh Roast Beef Does not have any Italian dressing or processed Swiss cheese. It has Spicy Brown Mustard and Big Eye Swiss. Also, Arby's no longer carries the Martha's Vineyard salad or grilled chicken sandwiches. All chicken sandwiches that Arby's carry are either crispy or roasted.

Do we see a pattern here? Yes, these are all fast food restaurants! Stay Away!! Shop at health food stores for your food. Eat at organic restaurants.

The absence of Wendy's on your list is noticeable...does this confirm my feelings that as far as restaurant choices go, Wendy's is a healthy choice...or did you simply omit it from your survey/study?

Enough already. Let people eat what they want. As it is mentioned that people eat fast food because it is cheap, convenient and fast. Taste and Calories are the last things on their mind. If they wanted to eat the alternative they wouldnt go to the fast food, place would they? The recommendations of alternative are good. Well, if government run health care is in place then the Govt will put restrictions on our food as well.

Can't stand these people that suggest healthier options. Look, sometimes people want to eat high-fat crap and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Yes, we all usually know there are alternatives, we can figure it out ourselves!

It would be healthier and more cost effective for these people to get up 10 minutes earlier and make their lunch with whole wheat bread and fresh fruit! Sometimes it surprises me when people say that fast food is quick AND cheap, because it's a whole lot cheaper to buy ingredients for a week's worth of lunches and dinners than it is to buy a couple meals from a fast food chain to feed a whole family.
