Subway Cold Cut Trio, on white bread pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, green bell peppers, white cheese mustard and mayonnaise salt/pepper vinegar/oil and extra extra pepperchinis, hold the olives. Is the best tasting sandwich next to Tommy Pastrami, Jumbo Pastrami on Rye.

The worst sandwich in America is not on this list. It is at Mimi's Cafe. They post their nutritional info online. Their "West Coast Reuben" has 2015 calories (more than half of them from fat), 138g fat, 120g carbs, and 3798mg sodium!!! Way worse than that "worst sandwich in America"!!! I almost ordered it once, but felt sick when I saw this info.

If all you eat for lunch is one Quiznos Sammie, you will be starving by 3:00pm.

The better choices still include a lot of sodium. The sodium is less in the better alternatives, but the sodium content is still very high.

Great article, I've always enjoyed reading about your culinary insights. Just to be a nerd, (and kill some time at work) recent evidence has suggested that the ancient Egyptians invented the sandwich some 4,000 years ago. Cheers!

Once again, more bad health information. If you eat the right foods (mostly or all unprocessed plant foods) and get decent exercise, you don't have to limit portions or count calories. Nobody can keep going that way and succeed long term. My BMI is 20.5 and I eat like a horse. There's more baloney in this article than the sandwiches it describes.

A useless black and white article, as can be expected from "Eat This, Not That". There is more than just the very worst and the very best things for you, maybe you should figure that out.
